The Media Center of the Council of Ministers contacted the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, which denied these news, stressing that there is no truth to the Egyptian agricultural quarantine imposing mandatory fees on Egyptian frozen strawberry exports in violation of the law, and that the Egyptian agricultural quarantine did not impose any compulsory fees on frozen strawberry exporters, noting Egypt ranks first in the world in exporting frozen strawberries, as the value of frozen strawberry exports amounted to about 244 million dollars in 2021, compared to 153 million dollars in 2020, an increase of 91 million dollars.
